ABOUT

This is a little Javascript program that calculates the frequencies of partials in a harmonic series, and returns the results in a tab-delimited list ready for pasting into Excel. A [+] or [-] after a note name indicates a microtonal deviation.

Fundamental frequency:	A Bb B C C# D Eb E F F# G G#
Octave:	-4 -3 -2 -1 0 (A=440) 1 2 3
Partial stretch (1.0 = normal)
Number of partials to return

This programme can be saved to your hard drive so you can use it without needing to be connected to the Internet. Please follow the instructions below.

1) Choose "Save As…" from the File menu, and save this document as an HTML file
2) To run the programme, simply double-click the downloaded file.
