Unfortunately the contract between the vendor and author of SoundMaker has been terminated. Therefore, SoundMaker will no longer be developed.

As a result I have currently stopped all development on SoundMagic FX. At some stage, when I get around to it, I might recode these to use the VST APIs, or maybe not. It depends how much use I get out of them. Once I get myself a machine running OS X, I will also investigate porting them to some plug-in architecture running in X (this depends on what sound editing software I decide to go with). I don't envisage this happening until at the very earliest mid 2002.

However, SoundMaker and SoundMagic are still running beautifully on Classic OS versions, and you can still purchase the SoundMagic FX package, and download the free beta effects. If you're registered for SoundMagic you can expect your registration number to work in any future versions.
